Flip Book

Overview

Flip book is a traditional type of animation. It uses a book,pencil and a rubber. You draw a picture in the bottom corner of the book then you draw the thing doing an action on the other pages. When you flip the pages the thing looks like it is moving.

 

What I will be using FlipBook for.

I will be using FlipBook to get an overview of what my animation might look like. I will be using the traditional method of hand drawing.

 

Positive

Flipbook is easy free and does not require technology! You can make it on anything that you want.

 

Negative

You have to draw all of the inbetweens while on a computer it does the inbetweens for you.

 

Interesting

It was the first type of animation to be created.

 

How to use it

Flip Book is very simple. You start with a clean notebook. You then draw a ball in the bottom corner. You turn the page and draw the ball again, this time in a slightly higher position you then do this again and again. Whe the ball is a few centermeters up you do the same thing but going down. You then repeat the process. When you have filled up the book, using your thumb you flick through the book. The ball looks like it is moving.

How do I save FlipBook?

To save Flipbook you place it in a place where you will remember it. If you are using the online tool then you can press the save button.

Evaluation

I found flipbook fun and easy. You can make whatever you want and very easily. Anyone can do it even with very limited drawing skills
